This series for K-8 educators explores authentic Indigenous resources thorough a balanced literacy approach.

Webinar sessions will be customized for grade specific curricular objectives and will:

■ Demonstrate how to integrate First Nations, Métis and Inuit histories, cultures, and perspectives for learners in the literacy classroom

■ Explore a variety of literacy strategies and authentic texts that support Read Aloud, Shared Reading, Guided Reading, and Independent Reading

■ Develop knowledge and an understanding of First Nations, Métis and Inuit education as addressed in the curriculum
